| Fight AIDS Foundation

The Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation is a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to healthcare,research and education. It was created by Dr. Bonaventura Clotet in 1992 and is located in the Infectious Diseases Service of the “Germans Trias i Pujol” University Hospital (Badalona, Catalonia, Spain).

The Foundation is made up of an expert team of professionals in diverse disciplines offering total healthcare to our patients and our investigators develop projects adapted to their needs. We rapidly incorporate new clinical practices and scientific advances.


Its function is to ensure the fulfillment of the core aims of the Foundation, to assess the work carried out, to approve the management and appoint executive posts. Its members are representatives of the different areas of the society.

This board takes decisions on all the relevant questions related to the operation of the Foundation and is composed of the Chairman, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees and the Manager.


Its members are in charge of the scientific management of the Foundation. They are: Dr. Clotet, the heads of all the research lines and the clinical trials coordinators.


It defines the Foundation’s lines of work, materialized in Strategic Plans. It is composed of representatives of all the professionals and the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.


Composed of representatives of all the professionals of the Foundation and it is in charge of supervising the implementation of quality policies and coordinates the application of the ISO standard.
