In the World AIDS Day, December 1, a total of 38 landmarks of Barcelona lit in red to support the fight against AIDS as part of the public awareness campaign "Barcelona stands up to AIDS" which celebrated its fourth edition.
Promoted by the Fight AIDS Foundation and supported by Barcelona's City Council, this initiative aims to highlight the commitment and charity of the city.
A tour around the most iconic illuminated buildings, leaving from the Ramon Berenguer Square. on a turistic bus loaned by TMB, ended at Luz de Gas concert hall where shortly after 8pm the party "GIVE YOUR LIGHT AGAINST AIDS" got started.
The party consisted of a concert that featured performances by Manu Guix, Jofre Bardagí, Joan Dausà, Elena Gadel, Monica Green, Lidia Guevara, Salva Racero, Joan Masdéu and Angel Llàcer. About 500 people answered the call of the Foundation and enjoyed the show.
Soon we will publish the final figure of the funds raised this year, adding the benefits obtained from the various activities.
