I HAVE JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED

I HAVE JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED

We know that you are quite scared now.
A diagnosis of HIV, however, does not mean the same as it did years ago. Thanks to the advances in treatment, people with HIV can live with a good quality of life and for many years. Socially, we have made advances too. Do you want to come and talk to us about it? Do you prefer to call us? We will do everything we can to help you in this difficult moment.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I HAVE IT

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I HAVE IT

If you have any doubt, or if you have been put at risk, or if you just want to be sure before passing from condoms to the contraceptive pill… DO THE TEST!

If you want us to do it:

  • Ask for an appointment by phoning 93 497 88 87 or through info@flsida.org (have your healthcare card number ready or clinical history number, if this is not the first time you have come to see us). In the first visit, you will speak to a doctor and some blood will be taken. The results will be given to you a fortnight later in a personal visit here.

If you do not want to come to the hospital:

  • There are other places you can do the HIV test.

Where can I do the test?
