- Xavier, Carme and Doctor Roig are the main characters of this book again; Dr. Roura and Dr. Guillem join them, trying to reflect all the physicians who are working every day against the Aids.

Surrounding them, the novel is consisted of lots of stories: Carme and Xavier will have to fight against the discrimination of their healthy son, only for the fact that they are HIV+; a trip will show them the cruel world of children's prostitution; the willpower of fighting against difficult situations will allow "Mambo" mending his life; being at the doors of death can or cannot save Laura's life... every story is different and interesting because it deeps into the world of people living with Aids. A novel based in real stories, that gives a natural and optimistic approach to a reality that affect us all, although we imagine very far frequently.

Carme was infected by her ex-husband. She, as commercial from an important cosmetics enterprise, had to travel frequently. During her absences, her husband invited women, his friends, to home, until one day a breakdown made her arrive home before what was expected. With the divorce, her husband gave her their flat, but two years later she realize that he had always given her the HIV.

Cecília Alcaraz and Bonaventura Clotet describe with a plain, interesting and instructive style, stories of people affected by HIV. The main characters, although they are identified by false names to guarantee their privacy, are men and women that the authors have met along the years dedicated to the fight against Aids, to beat this cruel illness.
