HEALTH CARE

Health-care to HIV-positive patients and to their setting is the Fundació's core activity. Since the outset it has strived to provide superior-quality health-care. The Fundació and the HIV Unit of the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol employ a team of professionals from different health disciplines that offer integral health care to HIV patients. The multidisciplinary team is comprised of doctors, nurses, psychologists, dieticians, social workers, clinical trial monitors and clerical staff. As well as other professionals, such as pharmacologists, psychiatrists, gynaecologists, plastic and digestive surgeons, statisticians, etc.
